About Me!
I’m an electrical engineering student at Valparaiso University on a mission to try everything. My high school didn’t offer many engineering classes so my projects filled in the gap. My projects allow me to experience other fields and gain skills I wouldn’t be exposed to in my major. I also just find a great joy in seeing an engineering project take form.
I’m the second oldest of 9 in a family that loves to break things. I began my journey as an engineer when my family’s PC stopped booting my sophomore year in high school. Through too much trial and error, I eventually figured out that it was a dust problem. After that success I wondered if I could fix the broken laptop too! Things spiraled off from there and eventually lead me to where I am today.
My projects set me apart and make me who I am. I wanted my educational journey to be unique and fulfilling and I can’t do that by just standing in line! I think my issue is that I’m too easily inspired and that I’m not afraid to jump head-first into an engineering challenge. I find that is when I learn the most! It’s this issue that keeps me learning and my desk messy!
My website mostly showcases my project experience but I also had an internship and I worked 3 jobs in highschool.
